What Can't Be Erased: 2009.01.31

Trying a simplified style... still mulling it all over.

A style for my lifestyle.

Some time back, when I had first self-published my auto-bio comic "What Can't Be Erased" I showed it to another artist and she said it was good, but told me the higher level of detail (whatever that means in MY art) detracted from the story.

Strangely this has stuck with me. Now, for the last year I've been working on a pseudo-superhero book - so the detail has been fine. As that book winds down, I find myself right back with that dilemma... and trying to figure out what style to use as I re-invest myself in some auto-bio stuff (watch here - I've, obviously, settled on Blogger over LiveJournal). It just adds an extra level of complication - I can't start drawing until I decide how detailed I'm supposed to make myself...

It's a new year... yay?

Is this a hint at things to come? Do these characters have anything to do with my next project?

I have no idea - but it's certainly a possibility...
